whats this error all about????

i just downloaded this today and at 85% i get this error msg... plez help me

Hi Jet,
How are you installing? As an upgrade or by booting the CD? Have you disable antivirus both in the target OS and in the system's BIOS? Or are you getting the error at 85% of the download?

Microsoft recommends burning the image file at 2x or 4x. They are getting a lot of reports about these file copy errors and the prevalent solution is to lower the burn speed as much as possible.

i get it at 85% of copying files from the CD to the computer during install i tried it on windows based and cd boot based

i get it at 85% of copying files from the CD to the HD during install ive tried it from boot n from within windows...

Try burning the DVD at a slower speed, this is a common problem.
